Hi everyone!
While our first full-on meetup with speakers and food was unfortunately delayed, we took the opportunity to hold a smaller July meetup at Lamplighter. We enjoyed good drinks, tacos, and talking about everybody’s ATProto projects. There was some great discussion about identity and trust as the ecosystem scales. Plus, I was pleased to find out I’m not the only one with a collection of vanity domains - with some collections vastly outnumbering mine.
Given that this was only the second meetup I've attended, I don't feel that qualified to report on behalf of the everyone. However, for anyone considering attending in the future, newcomers are very welcome! For the chronically online amongst us, getting to talk face-to-face is a nice change of pace. It made the community feel so much more tangible for me, and personally makes me very excited for the future.
We are working to get our big meetup with speakers back on the calendar, and hope to share updates on that soon. Stay tuned! For folks in the Boston area (or who aren't and want to be jealous of our meetups), follow if you haven't already!
