If you'd like to present, reach out to on Germ, Signal, or Bsky DMs.

Tell your friends, share the event link in all your various group chats and discord servers. Invite that person you think should know about the Atmosphere. Share it with your local newspaper and your local community organizer. Our first presentation will be an introduction to atproto, making this a perfect way to learn about the Atmosphere and meet the people behind it. And please RSVP! The headcount will help us to order enough pizza.

Meetup Recaps

We've had lots of meetups since the last post, so here's a quick rundown.

Democracy Brewing Meetup

May meetup! I had never been to Democracy before. This is a cool spot. must've blinked, oops.

Code for Boston

A handful of us attended a meetup and started sketching out a plan for putting porchfests on protocol. We got to an initial plan for lexicons and the directions of verification that intends to balance flexibility for "rogue" performances, privacy for hosts, and officially endorsed sets by the festival organizers. I seem to have forgotten to take a selfie, but here's our whiteboard.

All Tech Is Human + FOSS Boston

A few of us joined our friends at for their meetup in Harvard Square. I met Phil from bostonopen.dev, who actually set us up with our host for the big meetup on the 30th, so thank you Phil!

June Meetup

On a rather hot day we had our June Meetup over at Night Shift Esplanade, with a special appearance from !

July Meetup

A good crowd of new and regular attendees gathered at the UnCommon Corner this past Thursday. I love these casual meetups. Good people hanging out hand having great ideas together over a beverage never gets old.

Looking Forward

I'll be taking a brief hiatus from organizing these meetups while I go GET MARRIED to the lovely incredible . Yes yes, thank you thank you. I will still be around in August and September and will gladly attend meetups that I do not plan in those months. October I will be back in Georgia for the wedding and then in Ireland for a two week honeymoon, back in time for the holidays! ATProto Boston is in good hands. You'll hear from the rest of the organizers soon.

Until then, see y'all on the 30th!
